In a stream of devotional intention — coherence in the way of guiding heart-mind direction, through chakras, lineage, and activity into a single movement of practice.
🌟 The “northward” movement
In Tibetan symbology, moving upward or northward often points toward awakening, spaciousness, and the subtle realms. Linking that to the crown chakra evokes the ascent of awareness toward wisdom, clarity, and connection with enlightened mind. Within inner practice.

💜 Liberation through the chakras
The understanding of “liberating beings in the other chakras as you go” mirrors the tantric view that every level of consciousness — from instinctual to emotional to conceptual — contains beings, energies, and patterns that can be freed through awareness. It’s a poetic way of describing inner purification as a form of compassionate activity.

❤️ Radiating from the heart
The heart chakra as the seat of bodhicitta — the awakened heart-mind — is central in Tibetan Buddha Dharma. Radiating blessings outward from that space aligns with tonglen, guru yoga, and deity practice. It’s the warmth that makes wisdom usable.

👑 Crown connection with the gurus
The “heart–mind connection with the holy gurus at the crown” is classic guru/deity yoga imagery:
- devotion rising from the heart
- merging with the wisdom of the lineage at the crown
- dissolving into nondual awareness
- then returning to activity infused with that clarity

🌈 Carrying enlightened activity into the world
The final part here — “carry forth all enlightened activities in perfect accord with the dharma” — captures the essence of Vajrayana: not escaping the world, but transforming perception so that every action becomes part of the path.

A fresh and gentle rhythm of an inner journey.
The Pilgrim of the Quiet Path
A pilgrim walked the valley floor,
Where winds had whispered long before.
He carried nothing but a thread
Of questions dancing in his head.
He asked the river, “Where do you go?”
It answered softly, “I simply flow.
I do not rush, I do not stay,
I shape the world along my way.”
He climbed a hill of amber stone,
Feeling freer with each and every bone.
The mountain murmured, “Rise and see—
Your burdens shrink with clarity.”
He met a stranger cloaked in white
Who glowed like embers in the night.
The stranger said, “Your heart is wide;
Walk with truth as your only guide.”
Through forests deep and meadows bright,
He learned to trust the silent light.
He found that peace was not a place,
But how he breathed in empty space.
And when he reached the final crest,
He did not claim he’d passed a test.
He simply bowed to earth and sky,
And let the old illusions die.
The pilgrim turned and journeyed home,
No longer needing far to roam.
For every step, he came to see,
Was part of one vast inner road mystery.
